While this happens, they will attack as usual so it can be a little tricky to protect the convoy because of this. I have noticed that sometimes enemies (two or three max.) will stop in front of the vehicle and get dragged along with it. I think the convoy decided not to risk it. Just circle strafing at the end of each truck run for a loooong time compared to the defence aspect got a bit tedious for me personally. perhaps the truck breaks down and you need to fetch a wheel or there are detours setup by the hoard or even barriers to be hacked up.
